G7 Summit - June 2026 All the information

From 15 to 17 June 2026, Évian-les-Bains will host the G7 summit at the Hôtel Royal.

This international event will entail occasional adjustments to traffic and access to our region, particularly in the days leading up to and following the summit.

Here you will find all the information you need to prepare for your stay: access, travel, activities open, practical information, temporary restrictions, etc.

PASS G7

As part of the G7 Summit, a G7 PASS will be issued by the Haute-Savoie Prefecture to enable people to travel during the security period.

This PASS, issued in the form of a QR code, concerns in particular :

  • residents of the area,
  • people working in the area
  • professionals working in the area
  • visitors and tourists staying in the area.

Applications will have to be made mainly online from Monday 11 May 2026 via the secure platform: https: //pass-g7.gouv.fr

The authorities recommend that applications be submitted before Sunday 7 June 2026.

Depending on your situation, a number of supporting documents may be required:

  • proof of identity
  • proof of address,
  • professional documents,
  • accommodation reservations,
  • proof of visit to the zone.

>> For vehicles accessing the red zone, a copy of the vehicle registration certificate will also be required.
>> The PASS can be presented directly by mobile phone or in printed form during checks.
>> In Evian, help desks have been set up for people experiencing difficulties with digital procedures.

Open service providers during the G7

During this special period, many of the region’s partners and service providers will remain open and continue to welcome you. Below is the list of outdoor activities, shops, producers and services available, as well as our brochure, specially designed for the G7.

Tourist Information Offices open during the G7

The Tourist Information Offices in Thollon-les-Mémises and Bernex will be exceptionally closed from Friday 12 June to Friday 19 June 2026 inclusive.
The Tourist Information Offices in Abondance and La Chapelle d’Abondance will remain open at their usual times.

A reinforced switchboard (telephone, e-mail and post) will be in place throughout the period to answer your questions.
