The Espaces Valléens scheme, an Alpine-wide initiative, makes it easier for public and private players in mountain areas to obtain subsidies from Europe, the State and the Region, if they undertake to diversify their activities. The 2021-2027 programme specifically addresses the challenges of adapting to climate change, developing sustainable tourism and promoting territorial cohesion.
The funding available under the scheme is as follows:
- The French State via the CIMA Convention Interrégionale du Massif Alpin
- The AURA Auvergne Rhône Alpes Region through its tourism/mountain policy
- The Haute-Savoie department
- European funds, in particular the ERDF
