ViaRhôna, from Saint-Gingolph to Thonon-les-Bains. On the shores of Lake Geneva, on the border with Switzerland, Saint-Gingolph marks the start of the ViaRhôna itinerary.
Nestled between lake and mountains, the spa towns of Evian and Thonon-les-Bains will be highlights for strolling and relaxing along the quays in the immediate vicinity of Lake Geneva. Marking details : Depending on the area you cross, you'll find different types of signposting with the ViaRhôna logo and EuroVelo 17 identifier. Tricky passages : Please note that the route from Saint-Gingolph to Evian is reserved for experienced cyclists, and we strongly recommend that families start the route in Evian-les-Bains or Thonon-les-Bains.
