The area is dotted with numerous alpine pastures, where cattle were herded during the summer months. These mountains, as the locals called them, each had their own qualities and faults, but some were recognized as the best.

Take a hike to discover the "good" mountains, in the Abondance valley to the Fontaine et Bise mountain pastures, or in Bernex to Bonne Eau. Discover the alpine chalets, their organization and anecdotes about life in the past. Easy mountain hike with 200m ascent. Bring weather-appropriate clothing, walking shoes and water. Bookings can be made at the Tourist Information Offices of the Evian-Vallée d'Abondance region - Leman Mountains Explore. Reservations are recommended for tours. Reservations can be made right up to the last minute via the online store. Mediators cannot accept cash payments under any circumstances. If the tour is full, the mediator has the right to refuse visitors. If the tour is full, online booking is no longer possible.
