The Col du Saix is one of the most beautiful passes in the Abondance valley, offering a sumptuous panoramic view of the villages of La Chapelle d'Abondance and Châtel.
This pass is very popular all year round, with its snowshoe route in winter and its hiking trail in summer.
Summit accessible by hiking only, generally from mid-June to mid-September, dates which may change depending on weather conditions. Check with tourist offices or Mountain Guides before any access attempt.
