This uncrowded mountain overlooks the picturesque valley of Lake Arvouin to the south. It is possible to cross it in both directions, the most interesting being rather the west-east direction.
To reach the highest point, it is first necessary to climb to the Col du Serpentin, either by Lake Arvouin or by the Resse valley. At this pass, traces lead southeast to the summit. On the other hand, the continuation of the crossing, at the limit of climbing in places, is done off trail to the spillway of Lake Arvouin.
