Embark on a journey through time, tracing the evolution of the Abondance fairs and their impact on the village over the last 600 years. Why the 600th Fair? Is it really the 600th? Has it always taken place at the same time? In the same place? What was Abondance like 600 years ago? All these questions will be answered with the help of previously unseen photographs and illustrations! You will discover the fairs of yesteryear, the impact of the creation of the Abondance breed on the fairs and competitions, and the links between cows, cheese, and the prosperity of the Abbey!
