Discover Larringes And its impluvium

Larringes, situated to the west of the Gavot plateau, is at the heart of the Evian mineral water impluvium. The municipality has a strong agricultural heritage, with several long-standing farms, and is an ideal place for walks, between woods and marshes. The landscaped site of the Verrossier peat bog and the Larringes woods, with their centuries-old beech trees, are ideal places to recharge your batteries.

Do you know Larringes Castle?

The historic château, a private property closed to the public, bears witness to the rich history of the Gavot region. A family hike around the Château de Larringes will take you through this authentic village and give you uninterrupted views of Lake Geneva, the French Pre-Alps and the Valais Alps.

A perfect village for mountain biking

Larringes is located on the Evian water impluvium, a natural water filtration zone that follows a natural path through glacial rocks and sands for around fifteen years. The APIEME, Association de Protection de l’Impluvium des Eaux d’Evian, is working to preserve this unique area by taking action to preserve the natural environment and maintain sustainable, environmentally-friendly agriculture.

Green news

Between agricultural pastures, wetlands, forests, sports trails and mountain bike paths, the sharing of space is the order of the day in Larringes. This is an opportunity to remind people of the best practices for limiting their impact, with one watchword: stay on the trails.
