This is the funny, poetic daily story of two roommates living in a strange, patched-up hotel shack... The alarm goes off, the radio announces the news, and the day can begin. Welcome to Hôtel des Hortensias.
Each scene recounts, without words, with the simplicity of gestures, objects and music, the little habits and worries of these two characters in search of the unexpected. With nothing at all, they surprise us, touching us with their false modesty: turning a sock into a rose, mud into gold, rivalry into complicity, scattered hands into "hands in hands".
