Discover Les Mémises

One of the most beautiful views of Lake Geneva! Take in the breathtaking panorama from this unusual gondola ride.

Discovering Memises and their 360° view

From Thollon-les-Mémises, enjoy panoramic views of Lake Geneva, the peaks of the Chablais region and the Swiss mountains on the other side of the lake.

You can climb to the Pic des Mémises by cable car or by hiking (allow around 3 hours’ walk).

A breathtaking view

With its summit culminating at 1,674m, the Mémises mountain offers a 360° view of Switzerland and the Jura.

A famous paragliding spot, the top of the gondola is the starting point for numerous hikes and ski slopes in winter. There’s also a restaurant called “Les Balcons du Lac” where you can enjoy a refreshing bite to eat… overlooking the lake!

A multi-activity trail, accessible to all, allows you to walk your four-legged friends on a pretty loop between meadows and forests. The shade of the trees will be your best friend in midsummer! In winter, take the same path on foot or with snowshoes.

Our favourite Leman Mountains Explore

In summer, while the most motivated will set off to conquer the Pic Boré to admire the scenery from even higher up, those who prefer shorter walks will follow the balconies to reach the Pic des Mémises (a 15-20 minute walk from the top of the gondola).

Fast, accessible, with a magnificent view? We simply say yes!

From the Pic des Mémises or the Pic Boré, you can reach countless summits, passes, lakes and mountain pastures, all without ever leaving the hiking trails.

Here are a few ideas for your longer outings: Col de Neuvaz, Col de Rebollion, Lac de la Case, Lac de Darbon, Pointe de Bénévent, Cornettes de Bise, Pointe d’Arvouin… The possibilities are endless!
