Start at the Prétairié car park, cross the alder forest before following the signs for the Chalets de Tavaneuse to reach the lake.
The rock of Tavaneuse
A little-travelled route, exploring all the slopes, it offers magnificent views as you climb to the Tavaneuse rock. This hike can be done as a loop or as a return trip.

As with the Lac de Tavaneuse hike, you can start your ascent from the Prétairié car park. Once you have reached Lac de Tavaneuse, head towards the Col de Tavaneuse and then up the ridge to reach the summit.
