On Saturday June 28, 2025, at 8pm, as part of the Journées du Patrimoine de Pays (local heritage days), enjoy sacred chants by the Non Nobis vocal ensemble, accompanied on the organ by Monseigneur Descourtieux, in the heart of the Abondance abbey church.
The NON NOBIS men's choir, with over thirty years of history and more than 200 concerts to its credit, invites you to an exceptional musical experience on Saturday June 28, 2025 at 8pm in the Abondance abbey church. Under the direction of Michel BONNASSIES, a talented songwriter and harmonizer, the choir will perform a varied repertoire ranging from sacred chants, from the most beautiful Gregorian pieces to classical polyphony, to popular songs, old and new, drawing on world traditions and local folklore.
For this evening, the choir will be accompanied on the organ by Monseigneur Patrick Descourtieux, Catholic prelate, canonist and patrologist, organist emeritus and regular visitor to the Vallée d'Abondance. This concert marks the return of NON NOBIS to the church, 10 years after their 2015 performance.
Come and discover or rediscover this men's choir from Publier, whose reputation extends beyond the borders of the Chablais region, and let yourself be carried away by the beauty of their voices and the richness of their repertoire.
