The Darbon lake is a small mountain lake, with a surface area of two hectares, situated at an altitude of 1,813 m, accessible on foot from the Bise chalets in Vacheresse in 1h30. Enclosed waters. Fish population: Fario trout, minnow.

It is accessible from the Bise chalets in Vacheresse in 1h30.
Fishing permits can be purchased at tourist offices.

Sustainable tourism
Swimming in Lac de Darbon is strictly prohibited, including for pets.

Within a 200-meter perimeter around Lake Darbon:

- Dogs must be kept on a leash (this zone adjoins the Cornettes de Bise nature reserve).

- Wild camping, bivouacs and campfires are prohibited day and night.

Any infringement of this decree will be recorded in an official report.
