Lac de Darbon is a small, two-hectare mountain lake at 1,813 m altitude, accessible on foot from the Chalets de Bise in Vacheresse in a 1.5-hour hike. Fish population: Fario trout, minnow.

Fishing with 1 rod and 2 artificial hooks or 3 artificial flies.
3 trout per day per angler.

Fishing permits are available from tourist offices.
  • Sustainable tourism
    Swimming in Lac de Darbon is strictly prohibited, including for pets.

    Within a 200-meter perimeter around Lake Darbon:

    - Dogs must be kept on a leash (this zone adjoins the Cornettes de Bise nature reserve).

    - Wild camping, bivouacs and campfires are prohibited day and night.

    Any infringement of this decree will be recorded in an official report.
