Stay trek my first bivouac

From mountain pasture to mountain pass, the herds welcome us. If we're lucky, we may even catch a glimpse of ibex and marmots. The meal and the night in a tent in the mountains will create unforgettable memories of this first bivouac experience.

The outing is organized by Alp'Evianature, an association of local mountain guides and mountain professionals, in partnership with AEM Voyages.

Day 1:
Hiking through mountain pastures and over passes with breathtaking views. From the highest point of our hike, we'll have lunch overlooking the Dent du Midi.
In the afternoon, the trail continues down to one of the most beautiful alpine pastures in the Chablais region, nestled between the mountains at the foot of the Cornettes de Bise. With a little luck, we'll come across ibex, marmots, bearded vultures, cows and goats along the way. Finally, we'll reach our bivouac site and set up camp together. The day will be punctuated by many discoveries of the mountain through the five senses.
Hiking: 480 m ascent / 600 m descent / 8 km / 4 to 5 hours effective walking time (pace with children)
Lunch: packed picnic
Snack: from the bag or bought at the mountain pasture (bring liquid)
Dinner: included, in a bivouac with local produce, suitable for babies, children and adults. Meals and drinks included.
Night: in tented bivouac. Equipment provided.

Day 2:
In the morning, we'll have breakfast facing the Cornettes de Bise, illuminated at dawn. We pack up our camp before setting off for a final hike through the forest to reach our starting alpine pasture around midday.
Hike: 250 m ascent / 100 m descent / 3 km / 2 hours effective walking time
Breakfast: included, bivouacked with fresh local produce, suitable for babies, children and adults. Drinks included.
Lunch: not included. It is possible to have lunch at the mountain pasture restaurant (bring cash).

This program is subject to change before or at any time during the trip by the supervising professional, depending in particular on weather conditions, the physical and technical abilities of participants, the availability of accommodation or any other unexpected event. In the final analysis, the program is the sole responsibility of the supervisor.

The Mon premier bivouac trek is available from the end of May to the beginning of October (dates can be adjusted according to snow and weather conditions), depending on your availability.

Participants :
Children aged 1 and over.
Only families with at least one child under 6 are accepted. Siblings with older children are welcome.

Level of participants :
Easy/medium level if child in baby carrier.

For children who are walkers, 2 hours of walking in a natural environment is required. For smaller children who are less able to walk, a full or back-up baby carrier is required.
Adults should be able to walk for 2 hours with their child in a baby carrier (if necessary).

Number of participants: min. 6 / max. 12.
